Research

Each of you is to provide an original and relevant link for this novel, with a brief description of what can be found on that site.
It does not have to be directly to do with the novel, but can be a link to a site you feel could give new readers some more insight.

This link gives a good outline and explanation of the plot as well as people leaving comments to discuss the book and what they thought about it.

This website discusses the basic outline of the story and characters, but in doing so doesnt reaveal to much of the plot and leaves you wanting more.

This is url of a blogger who has supplied quite a detailed outline of the plot, characters and problems faced in the novel.

This link offers a bit more of an insight into what the Vietnam war was like. This isn't directly relevant to the book but it does reveal a bit more about why Tom Leyton is so traumatised.

This website offers great insight into the novel but at the same time doesn't give too much away as 'the sam' mentioned in his comment, it "leaves you wanting more".

There is an area for comments under the review of the book to let other people put forward their point of view and opinions.

'rob digity' mentioned a good website for an outline of "The Running Man" which I thought was well presented and informative.

  • I think Dom has a valid point there.
Even though its not directly about the book it does relate and can explain some of the things described that Tom Leyton is going through...

  • 'jordy p' has suggested a website for Silkworms for anyone not sure what exactly a Silkworm is which is related to the novel.

'rob digity' thought 'dom' had a relevant and "valid" point by putting forward a website on the Vietnam War to give more information to people not sure exactly what the Vietnam War was or was like which I believe could be useful.
